Read: Luke 15:11–28

YOU CAN HAVE A NEW BEGINNING (1)

“ For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.” Luke 15:24

Beyond every end, there is another beginning; beyond every failure, there is success; beyond every disappointment, there is an appointment. In God, failure is not final.

God has given us several examples in the Scripture that show that we can begin again when previous efforts do not fulfill our expected desires. For instance, when the earth was created, it eventually became without form and void, yet God began His work of creation again (Genesis 1:1–3). When the man He made fell into sin and became dead to God, He began the process of bringing forth a new creature in Christ (Genesis 3:15; 2 Corinthians 5:17). When humanity became a regret because of its sinful life, He started again with one man and his family after the flood (Genesis 6:5–8, 18).

The parable Jesus told in Luke 15:11–32, clearly shows the mind of God towards everyone who thinks he/she has fail, even when he believe the failure was his fault. Our God has given us many opportunities. He is waiting for you to take a step, beginning from your heart, to do it again.

Satan also waits at the point of decision to discourage you because he knows that if you take the decision to begin again, particularly, by believing in God, you will succeed. You have the final say on who should win in this seeming contest. Your past is not the most important thing; your future is. Your destiny, miracle, and success are in the future.Do not give your future to fear, doubt, and satanic intimidation when you can take a step of faith in God and have a new beginning.

Prayer: Prayer : Lord, I desire to begin again in the areas where I have failed in life and godliness. Please give me the courage to take the decision to have a new beginning, in Jesus’ name.
